KAFTAN: BLACK ANAAR
SNEAKERS: every white pair will suit
It was just one of those ordinary days at the playground, playing around with my baby Uma.
Then I saw this English speaking girl, chasing around two toddlers.
It so happened that we commented on each other’s kids and then started to talk.
“Hi! I’m Frances. I know I don’t look like one now, but I’m a fashion designer” – she said
“I know I don’t look like one either, but I’m a fashion blogger. Hey. My name is
Anna” – I said in return, laughing hard.
And that’s how they met. Isn’t it just cute? We exchanged contacts, knowing that we gotta catch up soon.
It was then, when I came to her pop-up store (which happened to be so close to where I live, what a lovely coincidence, right?),
that I got to know that she was – attention – a curator of Venice Biennale! I mean this is insane huge!!!
And definitely very inspiring!
So guys, please meet Frances Stafford, creator behind fashion brand BLACK ANAAR.
This tunic, kaftan, long kimono (call it however you want) – it’s her’s.
It’a sooooo unusual, Middle East inspired, so chic! Loved wearing it!
How do you like it guys? Would you wear similar one?
P.S. Turned out it’s not her kids, she just baby sits from time to time 🙂
P.P.S. I adore such spontaneous meetings. You never ever know when and where you can meet talented inspiring people.
All you need to do is keep your eyes & soul open.
